 Athletes' Fee: $225

 

Virginia Pride's outdoor Spring season will run from April – June and we will participate in AAU & USATF Sanctioned meets across Virginia, and Maryland.  Postseason meets that run in June & July will be available for those who qualify.

Practices will be Tuesday's, Thursdays 6:30 pm – 7:30 pm (6th grade & below) and 7:30 -9:00pm (7th grade and higher) at Phenom Strength & Conditioning 21690 Red Rum Drive Ashburn, VA 20147 and Sundays at Freedom H.S. in South Riding, VA from 2:30 pm – 4:30 pm. Locations are subject to change to allow for days we need to do hill runs or endurance runs.  Outdoor season begins Apr 3rd - June - 10th.  Once you have registered you will sent a team snap request to start received team emails.

Final decision regarding the event(s) in which an athlete should compete for rests with the coaches with parent & athletes input. Coaches will make recommendations based on its knowledge and experience in the sport of track & field, the event(s) in which it believes the athlete is most competitive, and highly encourage competition in only those events that match the athlete's skill set and physical capabilities.

The registration fee covers the following:

Weekly Indoor training facility & outdoor track fees.

Entry fee for regular season track meets (postseason meet fees aren’t covered by the Club).

End of season celebration.

Athletes and parents may purchase additional team swag gear (swag tab on website), and photos at an additional cost.

You will need to set up a Team Snap account (our team portal). Once registered we will send a link.

 

In the Outdoor Track & Field Season, the typical events in which athletes compete include:

Running: 100M, 200M, 400M, 800M, and 1600M.

Jumping: Long Jump, Triple Jump.

Throwing: Shot Put, Turbo Javelin.

With coach and facility availability, we will also encourage its athletes to compete in:

High Jump

Hurdles

3000M

Final decision regarding the event(s) in which an athlete should compete rests with the athlete; however, we will recommend, based on its knowledge and experience in the sport of track & field, the event(s) in which it believes the athlete is most competitive, and highly encourage competition in only those events that match the athlete's skill set and physical capabilities.
